The photograph on the left was of the existing pipework that was affecting the efficiency of the hot water supply to the house.
It was ugly and messy, was a mixture of plastic and copper pipe, and contradicts the water regulations in several places.
The mixer valve was faulty due to the system getting too hot. The piping was removed and replaced with all copper pipes and a new mixer valve fitted that can be seen in the photograph on the right.
The system is now efficient and compliant.
